Stall Needs to end!!!!
I'm hitting a month long stall and it is driving me batty!!! I feel like totally defeated and am worried that i have reverted to too many old habits..aka.. Not eating on a regular schedule ..missing meals... not getting enough water.. Snacking too much.. I think I'm a grazer and that is likely what is getting me and of course work stress and daily family stress 4 daughters tend to do that!!... I am trying to set my self back on track. Starting with getting back into putting me first... Sounds selfish I know but I keep doing for everyone again and Now im slipping.. I didn't do the surgery only to go back to same old me... What's the saying doing the same things and expecting a different result..... Any one want to set a work out goal with me??? I have a treadmill and elliptical but i have a hard time ensuring II'm using it unless I am accountable to someone else ya know what I mean??
My "stall" lasted three months because I was eating poorly. I figured that if I was going to eat carbs, I should probably work out to offset those calories. It got me moving, but hthe thing that keeps me moving everyday is that in about one year I will not longer have the benefit of the honeymoon period and if I don't develop good habits now I will not have them when I REALLY need them.
It helps me that I can drag my husband to walk every day. He wants me to succeed, too, so he is willing to walk with me and sometimes he's the one that gets me out there. Do you have someone you can workout with? Is there someone that you can call and talk to while you are working out - kinda like you are walking with them?

I've been pretty much stalled since the first of the year. I'm trying not to get discouraged but it's hard. How can someone eat less than 1000 calories a day and not lose weight??? I haven't been able to exercise due to back/tailbone injuries, but I'm getting back into it soon. Maybe that will help.

Ok stall ended.. I finally dropped 5 lbs. About darn time..... I increased my proteins last week so i guess i was likely behind on them.. Its amazing how when we don't eat we don't lose. Kind of our issue before wls... We think if we don't eat we'd lose.... I still havent had the chance to work out much to hectic schedule but I have found ways to integrate it here and there... is I wore heels to work during mock taks testing and spent the whole time walking around the room while kiddos were testing.. Boy did my thighs and calves get a work out. Hopefully I will be back on track now that i am remonitoring protein intake. I would really like to have the 100 gone by may!! I need to put the focus back on me for while so I can reach that goal.. Running out of time. A friend who had wls said lose in 1st year as much as possible because losing after the first year is hard cause your body normalizes!!! I don't want to normalize to soon!!!
