Are ALL of you doing it ----------->Exercising?
I just can't seem to take the time to do specific exercising. I seem to be losing weight at an OK pace, but I would love to be losing more. I walk to my Mom's when I have the spare time (trust me, it's a short walk :( and I don't park as close as I can to the front door at the stores anymore and I usually hustle when I'm shopping, so I'm at least getting more body movement than I used to (and on purpose too). But I know I could be doing so much more.
Anyone else having a difficult time getting motivated to exercise and how much "on purpose" exercise are you doing? What is your routine? I need a good kick in the butt!!

I was doing great pre-op and for the first 2 months post op but this last month I have been lazy! I would much rather read or watch TV at night. I was working out 5 days a week for an hour. I would put on a show and walk and then on the commercials I would do my night time chores. I would do 3 TV segments of Cardio and then the rest of the show I would do strengh training. I need to get back into it but I am so bored! I want to get a ball to mix it up and I requested a few exercise videos from the library to see if I can find something fun to do. I really need to get my butt back into gear.
i dont know if it counts or not... but im doing 30 minutes of wii either at night or if i can get my lazy butt up at 4:45am i will do it in the morning. i do about 10 mins of yoga and strength training then about 10 minutes of "dancing" and boxing then 10 minutes of free run (my neighbors downstairs must love me) and some nights afterwards i have crazy monkey sex with the husband... lol... does that count?

Sex burns around 90 calories per 15 minutes depending on your body weight. I'd say that counts!

Oh gosh, you had to bring this up. Thanks. :). No, I don't formally exercise, but on the weekends I am out at the apple orchards, at the zoo, at the park etc....I really, and truly need to start walking. It would be great to get that little amount of time to myself. And, it would kick up the weight loss, and that would be so great for my morale.

I like to dance, I mean, dirty dance, so I've been thinking about contacting my local strip club and have them host like a jazzercise or dancing exercise class for those of us who like to dance and want to shape up. Heck, they might even find a few recruits for their club when they're open lol. If people could just get past the idea that it's a strip club, we'd actually have a little fun, it's local and the place wouldn't have to charge much for us to use the place, because there is someone who actually lives at the place 24/7. He probably wouldn't like that idea too much, but I sure think it's a great idea :-) Oh well.......maybe I should just get my MP3 player figured out and put some dang movin' music on it and just start walkin'. I feel so much better knowin' that I'm not the only slacker.....
