Peanut butter cookies i can eat

I found this recipe on one of the other boards

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup of splenda
1 egg
1tsp of vanilla

Mix it all together and it said bake at 350 for 5 min but i had to bake it longer like 7-9 min all depends just check it. I dont' know the stats but i can only eat one or two maybe and they are small but oh so delish.

Just thought i would share they are crumbly and very peanut buttery.

Those sound very good and that is exactly what I am afraid of.  I am so afaid of starting to eat sweets and then starting a viscious cycle.  Anyone else feel that way?

I am afraid of that myself however i don't want to live the rest of my life and never never be able to enjoy something. In fact the last few days i have had the craving for sweets but i ate one cookie and it was litterally all i could take and handle.  I know most of my cravings are only in my head becasue some of my taste buds have changed, but this cookie could be turned into a good protein source like the other poster adding powder to it. I have the belief that i can enjoy some things  but in very moderate ways and there are lots of recipes out there for WLS patients.

The Aspire peanut butter cookie protein powder is a healthy sweet.  It's really great added to Hood Carb Countdown chocolate milk.  I love to make chocolate/peanut butter protein ice cream.  It's the best!
