Flu Shot

It's flu shot day at work today. I've been getting the shot for several years. Will it affect me differently now?

I don't see why it would.......it is a IM injection not a PO.....I could see if you were taking it orally there may be some absorption issues. However since it is an injected vaccine it is absorbed by the circulatory system not the digestive. But hey that just my opinion!

I really didn't think about it when I got mine. It didn't do anything different to me. I figured it didn't directly affect my tummy so it was ok.

I don't think there should be any issue with side effects.. But I can only stress by working through GOVT. Agency it would be advisiable to get your kids, older adults , then us the HIN 1 Virus shot!!. I had a meeting yesterday at work their is a possiablity that a large epidemic could occur as early as this fall.. So any one that might have a weak immune system should get the shot.. i'm not trying to scare everyone.. but our immune system are still in the repairing mode post -op!! This is way as I have read.. in many of our blogs.. many of us are catching colds..
