I put on size 16 day
and it nearly put me in tears, except that I was too credulous. I didn't believe it so I tried on another pair of 16s and they fit too.
Then I took them off and layed them out over the baggy pair of pants I wore to work today so I could see if they were a different size. They were.
Then I looked in the mirror and with my clothes off I look the same to me. Wow! This is really strange.
I started out as a 24. Today a 16. Wow!

That is so awesome! I went shopping yesterday and although I was still putting on size 24s, I was able to put them all on and they all buttoned and zipped. They didn't all look good because of the lovely butt in the front look I get when pants don't fit right. I am not sure what size I actually got to at my highest. The last pair of Jeans I bought was a snug size 7 at lane bryant. I am not sure what equivalant that really is. I have been wearing elastic band clothes for so long. I am hoping that by the time it is time to really wear jeans all the time (I'm in so cal, so late october probably) I'll be in a 20 or smaller. It has been years since I have seen those numbers! Very exciting!
Luanne - I had my surgery in July but I had my tonsils out about a month before that and dropped 17 lbs right after! Yep, that will happen when you can't eat anything but protein drinks and applesauce. So I have lost about 25 lbs since July 13th.
I went and tried on all the clothes I own today. I kept the ones that didn't look ridiculous. It looks like I will be spending the fall in mostly skirts and blouses. My kids (in my classroom) won't recognize me in skirts. LOL
