Regarding stalls
Hello friends...
I found this post regarding stalls. http://www.obesityhelp.com/forums/wls_lightweights/4012920/T ypical-stalls/
It pretty much says that stalls are normal at 3 weeks and 7-8 weeks and last for 1-2 weeks. I have never had a stall this long before (10days) so I have been freaking out! I guess we are normal. I'm sure my body will kick back into gear, I just need to be patient and keep doing what I am doing. Hang in there guys!

Your right girlie;
Our bodies are trying to relate the message of CHANGE to our immediate organ system... I 'm on a stall now when from 380 to around 321 lbs... Doctor says it's normal after the first 30 % lost of weight... he said should pass within the next week or so.. he told me to try to eat at less 900 to 1000 calories.. so when the body has adapted to the new changes... it will resume the process.. but the good thing unlike ... previous diets .. no drop in the scale numbers doesn't mean re-gaining of weight.. I 'm still losing inches during the stall... so according to my DOC.. your scale may say NAY... but with inches moving... means surgery still.. working.. But what I did find out on the WEB... what ever weight we have lingered before surgery such as our highest weight... our bodies will linger there for a moment... Kinda like our bodies mad we losing weight..
But it will pass girlie..

I so agree with the inches! The first stall I had a week or so after surgery, I swear I must have lost 4 inches in my waist. That was the first time my clothes just started falling off...not much weight loss on the scales, but a huge difference in my body size.
We have to keep sharing and keep encouraging each other. It is so exciting to see how our bodies and our lives are changing!

We know it happens, but it is still hard! I think my 7-8 week stall just broke! Stall lasted 2 weeks. I'm down 4 pounds in 2 days, so hang in there! (2 of which were gained....)
I don't think it has anything at all to do with changing up my routine, I think it is just my body doing it's thing. Going to enjoy the next few pounds...until I stall again.

I'm in the midst of a stall right now myself... and I'm stuck just at 200lbs. It's gone on for 18 days now. I thought it had broke on Saturday when my scale dropped 3 lbs but it went right back up the next day.
I had not changed my eating plan at all but in the meantime I've either formed a stricture or an ulcer and have to go in tomorrow for an EDG. For the last 4 days I've been back on clear liquids and still nothing has changed with my weight.
I know what you mean about how frustrating it is. It's messing with my head so horribly.
