For patients weighing 200 to 250 lbs.
10 lbs. in first 10 days
15 to 25 lbs. in 6 weeks
25 to 35 lbs. in 3 months
35 to 45 lbs. in 6 months
60 lbs. or more in 1 year
70 lbs. or more in 18 months

For patients weighing 250 to 300 lbs.
10 to 12 lbs. in first 10 days

 I am 6 weeks post op today. I have lost 33 lbs. I think everyone is different and we all hit plateaus at different times. I am ahead of the chart now but might stall out someplace and not lose anything for a while. I am focusing on inches more than lbs.

I'm six weeks out today and down 30 pounds,  Ten more pounds and I'm halfway to goal!

Well.... I hope it's a bit faster than that, but I won't complain much if it isn't. :)

Thanks for the post! It makes me feel good! I've always been an overacheiver! 38 lbs and 7 weeks on friday!

I will be 8 weeks out tomorrow and I am dowm 40lbs as of this morning.I have had a tough time with eating but am doing a lot better. Getting in the calories and protein has been hard and I am still struggling with that but I am very happy for the weight loss!
