1 month out what are you eating?
I'm still 3 weeks from switching to normal foods..I'm on soft foods right now, so basically anything I can easily mush up in my mouth.
Here's a list of foods:
egg salad
tuna salad
buffalo chicken dip
sliced cheese
mini babybels
scrambled eggs
refried beans
meatloaf
boca burgers
shaved deli meat
ricotta bake
canned green beans
mushy broccoli
string cheese
black eyed peas
shrimp
Shrimp are the toughest to chew and take a loooong time until I'm comfortable swallowing. I haven't had a chance to try regular fish yet, but I assume it would go down well.

My doctor said I can try everything but beef, pork and grapes. I have been trying things. I have been wanting some carbs lately so I bought some double fiber bread and whole wheat pasta. I don't have them both in one day, but it is nice to have some if I want. The main thing I do is weigh everything! The digital scale I got for my birthday has been a lifesaver. I am supposed to eat 2 oz at least 4 times a day. So i just put my plate on there and add my food until I get to 2 oz. I can get the 2 oz down fine, most of the time. so far today, this is what I have had:
RTD EAS AdvantagEdge shake (17)
1/4 cup of greek yogurt with 1/8 cup of kashi go lean (6)
3 turkey meatballs with turkey gravy (10)
1/2 Oh yeah protein wafer (7)
I ate some salad yesterday which was the first roughage I have had since surgery.
I am trying to eat between 700-800 calories a day. My weight doesn't seem to want to change, so I am don't know if I am doing the right thing, but I am going to trust the process.

I have to try those eas shakes..are they thick? I got atkins ones and I can never finish them its just too thick! You look like you are doing everything right.
I decided to up my calories im determined to get in at least 600 but its hard. I started excersizing also but my weight has not budged in almost a week! Its pretty depressing if you ask me!

The EAS shakes ROCK!!! They are the thinnest shakes I've had. They don't have that thick milky yucky taste. I tolerate those really well. In my opinion, they are the best shakes out there. Also, they're the cheapest carry & go shake I've found (especially if you go to Walmart...$4.97 for 4!!) I like the strawberry the best.
Give 'em a try...I don't think you'll be disappointed.

So far so good as far as foods go. My sister calls me several times a week and I swear the first thing she asks me is if I have thrown up yet. It's like she has a bet on what day it will be, lol. I'm very lucky to have no bad episodes yet.
One of the best meals for me is to combine refried beans, ground beef, cheese and a spoon of LF sour cream. I think it tastes good. I made it for the family but I put theirs on chalupa shells. Oh, the ground beef was really ground turkey but don't tell the family, lol. Also I put taco seasoning in the meat to make it tasty.
I tried the Ricotta thing and I liked it. One of my girls like it and called it noodleless lasagna.
Whole wheat pastas like rotini. I tried penne pasta too but felt it was easier to chew the rotini.
I've been making decaf iced tea with splenda. It's great to get a little flavor instead of plain water, but I don't feel like it quenches my thirst. I used to love crystal light, but now it just tastes too sweet.
