Advil

Can I take this?!!

Everything I have heard and read says tylenol products only.   If Advil is an NSAID product it is a big no-no.  I think aspirin is a no-no too.  Something about ulcers.

Advil, Ibuprophen, Asprin, Aleve......NSAIDS are not allowed unless you don't care if you create little holes in your brand new tummy!!...LOL....These all can cause ulcers that is why we are not to EVER to take them again.........makes me sad........I love my ibuprophen it was my cure all.......tylenol is my friend.....tylenol is my friend.....tylenol is my friend.....say it with me now.........tylenol is my friend.......LOL

My sister is six years out from her RNY and recently spent a couple of days in ICU with bleeding ulcers because she had been taking aspirin. I'm glad she's gone before me and been a good example of what NOT to do! I will only take Tylenol.
