My scale is stuck grrrr/and a how is everyone :-)
Anyway i was wondering what everyone has been eating lately. I don't know if i am eating to much or to little.
My day goes like this
B usually a protien shake
L tuna,chicken,or egg or deli meat and cheese
D chicken and some veggies
water in between
and maybe sometimes another shake
sometimes a sf fudgesicle
I am still struggling with getting my protien and liquids in. Still learnign ti all and fitting it into my day i think i am gonna have to add some other foods for snacks but seems like i just can't get it all into my day.
How are you guys doing??
My nutritionist says I'm supposed to be eating 1/3 to 1/2 cup per meal. Maybe try to move up to 3 ounces for a meal or two and see if it helps. I can't eat a full half cup yet on most things except soup or chili. I'm eating a minimum of 75 grams of protein a day and it's made a huge different in my energy level.
How many grams of protein are you getting a day?
Sometimes I feel like I eat too much and other times I an hardly get in 1/4 cup. I think I have to be more careful about stopping drinking 1/2 hour before I eat.
I tracked my intake at My Plate and yesterday I ate only 763 calories. That's crazy! But it is forcing me to be more mindful of what I am eating to get the maximum bang for my buck. I really can't get my protein in unless I have a shake at some point in the day. If I start that way, I am pretty sure I have at least that covered.
Are you making your protein shakes with water or milk? I use soy milk and it adds 7 more grams of protein to my day.
I think i am just tired of the same foods lol. But i have about 2- 2 1/2 weeks on soft foods so better get use to it i guess lol. But i think i am going to make som chili and that will help give me a change.. I shouldn't complian i have lost 24lbs in 3 weeks so that is something lol.
If I'm running low on protein, I'll have an extra glass or two of high protein skim milk. Lately, I'm full before dinner time and end up sipping milk instead of eating dinner. My high protein milk has 12 grams of protein per cup. If I'm craving something sweet then I'll make it chocolate milk.
I'm eating around 750 calories a day.
Don't forget if you have acxcess to a mall you can walk there in hot weather.
I, too, am very tired of my limited diet. It is SO hard to cook such tiny portions and everything I used to eat was loaded with carbs. *sigh* I'm adjusting I guess.

My average for the last week has been 590 calories a day and about 76 grams fo protein. I don't think I have ever gone about 700 calories. The scale isn't moving like I think it should be, about 6 lbs over the last 2 weeks. I will lose a pound and then stall and then lose a pound and then stall. I really should stop weighing myself everyday but I cannot help it and it is fun. I need to work on getting my water intake and my protein and calories up and see if that works.
