X-post I'm back from my surgery!

Hello everyone,

I jsut wanted let you all know that I'm finally home, I was dicharged tonight at 6:15 pm.

Dr. Kelly said everything went fine but he did find a hiatal hernia that he had to fix while he was in there. So it's possible I'm a little more tender that I would have been if it had not been there.

The staff at UMASS was great, all so understnding and caring. I was crying this morning over the pain I was in due to dry heaving. My nurse was so kind to me.

My biggest problems were the neasua and dry heaving... too painful.

The drain did not hurt much coming out, just just felt strange and grosed me out.

NowI I'm at home sipping, sipping an sipping. Tomorrow I need to both the sippng and walking and walking.

I will post more when I'n not so drowsey. Thanks for everyone's support!

Welcome home Robyn!!!  Sorry to hear about the nausea.  Hope it goes away quickly.

Aw man, the nausea sucks! But I'm sure it will get better! If it's ok with you I'm gonna pray for you?  You gotta make sure you do your walking.  The sipping comes over time cuz you get really full really fast!

I'm up at 3:10 this morning to take Percoset due to the paid. The darn percosets only last 4 hours. Ugh.

I promise to get up and walk, and I have been sipping alot as it's wick hot up here with extremely high humidity.
