Gained 9 pounds in the hospital.

Man, im home sweet home. I know that Ive been pumped up with liquids but, how DEPRESSING. I weight 309 the morning of my surgery and now I weigh 316. Im just glad its over!

Welcome home and glad to hear that you're doing great. Boy, I did not realized you gain weight initially after surgery. I am not looking forward to that.

Happy you are home and everything went ok!  I weighed 297.6 the morning of surgery and weighed 310.4 when I got home.  I thought it was all the gas.  I agree it is very depressing!  I'm having a lot of gas pain around my left shoulder.  Other than that just sore. 

It will drop fast!  I gained 6 pounds and was 261 when I got home.  This morning, I have 246!!  

I weighed 251 the morning of surgery, Now I am at 244

I wi**** would come off faster..I am working so hard!

You gain weight but you lose it really fast!

Wow! No one ever said we gain some of this liquid diet weight loss back! I never even thought about it.  But I'm glad to hear it goes away quickly.

I was 267 the morning of surgery and 277 at discharge.  This was actually less fluid weight gain than I expected.  They pump you full of fluids with the IV and flood your abdomen in surgery to look for leaks.  I had surgery on Monday and am still feeling bloated.  I also have not had a bowel movement since the day before surgery.

I feel a lot better now! I havn't had one either. I was happy just to fart LOL.

I didn't have a bowel movement for like 3 days until I got home but I did get one of those travel pillows and pressed lightly on my stomach to move the gas down!!!  It worked and I started passing gas and then eventually the bowel movement came!!!
