The surgeon's office called and rescheduled my surgery from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. That's a good thing though because I have to drive 3 hours and be there 2 hours prior to surgery. I guess everything is ready to go. My surgery is Tuesday. I'm going shopping on Monday to get everything I'm going to need for a couple of weeks post surgery. I'm nervous, excited, and a little scared - but ready!

Hi everyone
I didn't have to a have any labs or anything for my pre-admission appointment. They just checked my weight and pulse. Which was good because it usually takes them several tries to get my blood. Sometimes they have had to use a syring to pull it out. I always feel sorry for the person who has to try to get it out of me. They always feel so bad. But I know it's not their fault. It's just my small veins
I also have to be at the hospital for 6am. My surgeon was on vacation last week. So hopefully he is well rested and ready to get back to work. The hospital is about 1hr 20 min from home. So up and out of the house by 4:30am. At least it's summer and will be getting light out as we drive.
