n e 1 else taking magnesium citrate?

Magnesium citrate used for producing bowel movements :) JOY! This stuff is the devil. It tastes so disgusting and if I didn't feel like I was going to puke from nerves I certainly am now. EKKKK. Anyone elses doctor make you take this the day before surgery?

YUP!  Of course, we have the same MD...LOL

I haven't bought that stuff yet.  Where do you get it?  Should I just go up to the pharmacy counter and ask for it?

I got mine right next to the other laxatives in the grocerie store

We take Milk of Mag...i'm sure it is just as tasty.  LOL 

I bought my Magnesium Citrate at Walgreens today.  I chose the Grape flavor.  I was looking at it this afternoon thinking about how terrible it probably will be. 

Luckily, we are required to chase it with 8oz of water because I'm going to need something to kill the taste I'm sure. 

I bought mine today too!  I saw that grape flavor, but I like grape and don't want to ruin that flavor for myself.  So I picked the clear one which is a lemony flavor, I believe. 

So do we take all 10 oz. at one time or split it up? 

Oh, forgot to mention how cheap it was.  I had never bought it before and I thought it was going to be alot more expensive than it was. 

My doc doesn't require it...thank goodness.  I don't have time to spend all day in the bathroom!
