surgery date July 20

My surgery date is July 20th. I am so excited and scared and any every other emotion rolled into one.

 We're having our surgery the same day!!! Almost positive, you know, but anything can happen.

OMG My surgery date is set for July 20th they wanted to do it yesterday the 15th but I said let me enjoy my July 4th so they said July 20th so I could enjoy the holiday before my 2 week liquid diet starts. It was weird because I was so siked to get the date but when it came time to actually set it I got really nervous. I have gotten a bit better and looking forward to it now. Before I was worried about leaving work for 4 weeks and how the actual surgery would be seriously I had one of those nightmares where I woke up on the table and the doctor was talking about his golf handicap. now I'm just worried about post op and making sure I have all the pills I need and trying to find good recipes for protein drinks and pureed food.   I wish both of you luck and any other July WLS'R.

I am also scheduled for the same day and am having the lap band. I had all my pre-op testing this morning and this will be my last week of real food before teh 2 week liquid diet. I too am having second thoughts. It's scary that this will be changing the rest of my life, I'm having very mixed feelings.

I am too having my surgery on July 20th but I was curious to ask about the 2 week liquid diet. Do es everyone have to have the liquid diet for 2 weeks? I go for my pre op on July 14th and I was told I only have to do a liquid diet for like 2 days and then I have to drink some kind of cleanser that will clean me out... Do you guys know about that? I am a bit confused only because I am hearing on here about two weeks of liquid and my doctor did not tell me about it. 
Wow only 15 more days until my surgery......
