My date is July 8, 2009 - I'm excited and nervous.

Great to hear your surgery is July 8th also!  It will be nice to stay in touch.

I'm going to do the protein drinks with fruits and vegetables soon to prep for the surgery.  My surgeon doesn't require that we lose weight (like some others do) but I'm still going to stick with 1400 cals. so I'll be in good shape.  They (dr. & ins.co.) do however want to make sure we're on a diet (that awful word) and exercise. 

Hey can a July 7th er join in????   not to many in that date frame.    My dr does not have any special diets either but I am gonna do the day before protien boost.

Of course you can join in Diane.  Looking forward to talking to you.  Are you looking forward to your surgery as much as I am?  I got a really bad cold last week and my chest is still congested and have this awful cough.  Saw my primary last week (after a week) and she gave me cough syrup w/codeine  I hope I can get rid of it soon so it won't affect my surgery date.

Thanks Irene, wow hope you get better soon!!!!!     I am eager to have it done and over with.   I want to be sitting on the looser bench!
