What a great date! I wanted that date, that was my first choice but it wasn't available.
Lately I often think about will I lose weight like everyone else - is this really all going to happen? I actually vision myself looking thinner and being more energetic and happy. They are really nice thoughts. It doesn't seem possible but I know that it will happen - I see it in all the before and after pictures. I really can't wait - funny because I am really nervous. I feel fortunate to be able to have this surgery.
Do you worry about the eating part? I know I'm ready for the lifetime commitment but I still think about having the foods right now that I won't be able to have later for months. I suppose that's normal. What a great journey we are about to enbark! It's not going to be easy but so worth it for our wellbeing.

Do you have to do a special diet before the surgery? Our doctor doesn't require us to lose weight like many others...but I'm still going to make sure I limit my food intake and do protein shakes before the surgery, just to be sure my body does well during surgery.

I don't really have a special diet when we go to the support groups they give us tips but I am jus****ching my colorie intake and trying to atleast walk more than I usually. They don't really require you loose weight . but the insurance company wants that you diet and exercise.
If this is good for me I pray that God make it easy for me in righteousness and good health ameen

I'm going to also do a two week protein diet eventhough our doctor doesn't require it. They just don't want us to gain any weight. I'm going to keep it at 1400 cals. if I can. Protein drinks, fruits & vegetables.
