Just remind him of the reasons you are having it done. I know it has to be frightening to him because you will be going through so many changes but remind him how much you love and appreciate him for sticking with you. I wish you the best of luck!

I wanted to wish all our Monday surgeries the best of luck....can't wait to meet you all on the other side on the loosers bench! Can you believe we all get fresh clean slates on Monday! WOO HOO- I can hardly wait!!!!!!

HEY YOU GUYS lets chat and talk our way to july 8th this weekend is the hardest weekend for me i'm watered out and smelling steaks and bbq and looking at other eat. but i am drinking protent drinks and i can say i ate 1/2 0z of steak and 1/2 salad and yogurt. that was my cake 
i have one more bbq to go to and i have to bring the 7 layer dip ( dang) but you know what I not going to eat NOTHING i promise - await my report tomorrow ok. sunday after church im going to clean my house i know i will not be able to do it when i return. oh my you want my husband to what" wash a dish" lol- laughing out loud"
now monday is my clean out day .
smooches ladies until tomorrow

hey there Michelle, I'm nervous too, and my church family and co-workers say don't do it you look great now ( at 230lbs and 5'2) and i said i am doing it. but to my point for you i love my spouse as you do and mine is against it to but, THIS IS FOR ME for the 1st time in my life,. he went to my support groups and preached to me all the way about you just have to push away from the table - well im pushing away from people that say NO!!

Jackie, thanks for the response and the encouragement. Yours is the first message I've gotten on this site. I'll also keep you in my thoughts, particularly at 8 am Monday, my surgery is at 11 am. I'm glad you worked out the CPAP, it gives me hope. I think after I'm home I'll look into different masks, time has just creeped up. I appreciate your thoughts about we are here because this is what we are supposed to be doing. You've got a wonderful spirit-- I really appreciate it. All the best and we'll touch base soon! Nathan

Congrats!!!! I haven't been able to think of anything else for sooo long I don't know what I am going to think about once the surgery is done. Although I am sure my aftercare and new lifestyle will keep my mind racing for some time. I filled all of my prescriptions yesterday and reality set in. Still not scared though. My surgeon is awesome. No need for that.
