this will vary from surgeon to surgeon. mine would gasp if I had diet soda (I had to cut it out entirely). I'd call the surgeons office and have anohter sheet sent to you.

Hey! I'm sure that my aunt Diane and uncle Tom know her. They've gone to Sacret Heart forever. I'll have to ask them. Dr.Speigel would have been my next choice. I chose Dr. Marvin because 3 people at work went to him and I NEEDED to see the results before I even considered it. Well it's done. The surgery is over. I woke up to take my pain medication and decided to check my email. I am a really big baby and I am in pain. I have 5 little incisions and I have a small bottle of anesthesia attached to me. The actual cuts really don't bother me. I guess it's the lap band site that is causing me so much discomfort. I hate to think that how it will feel shen that little pump is removed. It hasn't bothered me that I haven't been able to eat either. I haven't been hungry. I have noticed that I almost have an instincual desire to grab and chunk any peice of food that I see on the counter. Wow! Thank you for your prayers and I too pray to lose the weight that I need to in the most healthful way. I don't want to look sick. I'll write more later. Leslie

Hey Dorothy, How r ya doin, girl? I'm feeling much better now that I'm out of that awful hospital bed! I told Dr. Spaw the morning we left that the beds stink. He agreed whole-heartedly. The only real problem I'm having is figuring out when my pouch is full & when it empties. I am having a pain under the breastbone like they say you have if you overeat/drink or eat/drink too fast. But the weird thing is that I can wait over an hour after eating & I still have that same feeling In my warped little mind, I keep thinking they left some surgical equipment in me But I trust Dr. Spaw, so hopefully that's not the case. Well I finally got the official packet...I have my surgery on July 24. Scared and excited! I am sooo ready to start moving forward.
