The first two days are the worst. You will get much better every day after that.

Leslie: How was your Sunday?You are now three days post? I understand about the food. I want to grab too, but the Dr. told me that he would not do the surgery if my liver is large. But also, do you notice how much more will power you have knowing that you have this new tool? You can do it. I have another friend that had the lapband, she is about 3 or 4 months post. She has lost about 30 lbs. she can still eat a happy meal I don't think all at one sitting but she can still eat it. I am going to try and figure out how to post my picture. I am planning to take a picture tomorrow of me in my underwear and bra for a before picture and then we can see where it takes me. Hope your off the pain meds. Jodie

I am a little neverous about what happens now. I did my sleep study and I couldn't sleep. I don't have to go back for a second night and they did not put the mask on me. The tech said she didn't realize the importance of my test (lapband surgery****il the morning when the test was over. I don't think I have sleep apnea. I was already approved. I have a 36.7 BMI, Depression, joint problems, asthma, and the on set of diabetes. Im now wondering if my approval will be revoked because I dont have sleep apnea. Surgery date July 17, 2008/ Insurance BCBS Horizon NJ direct 15
