I am so sorry...I would be so devastated. I can't even imagine how upset you must be. All the preparation and to do another two week liquid diet...ugh.
I would suggest doing something extremely nice for yourself today.

I can't believe this is happening. Tomorrow was supposed to be my big day. I've been on my liquid diet for a week getting all psyched for this and then the surgeon's office calls me yesterday to tell me there was a scheduling mixup and the doctor will out of town. 
I'm so upset! Now it's on the 28th. I had everything arranged with my family to be taken care of and now this interfers with my job. A lot of planning went into being ready for tomorrow.
I'm just so blown away by all this. And to have to start over on the liquid diet-UGGHH!

Thank you all so much for your response. 
I have been sticking to Sugar Free Jell-O, Pudding, and Applesauce. I have a Protein Drink in 1% milk. I also had some lettuce, carrots, and purple grapes. I am doing better than I thought. I am hungry for "real" food but yet determined to do this. I have just a week left to go so I hope it goes by just as smoothly.

Hi, Ivadale -- my surgery will be July 31, so I'll be starting the pre-op diet tomorrow or the next day -- I'll be thinking of you...

Hi my name is Dawn and I live in wisconsin and had the lap rny on march 12th 2008 and was wondering if anyone else lives close to green bay or appleton who go to support group meetings that can inform me on some I had my surgery done in Wausau so there are none and I need the support

Kitty, I hope your feeling more excited about your WLS. I'll Have RNY on the 18th and let you know how it goes. Don't be afraid, I'm sure the first few weeks will be a big adjustment but we can all lean on each other for support. I'm taking my computer to give updates. Hope no one steals it. Still have you on my prayer list. Carol
