I would try calling your surgeons office to see if you may need another fill or if your band has slipped. Although originally I was going to have the Lap I decided on the Sleeve and have gone from 415 to 298 since 2/20/08. I do however watch my carbs very closely. I try very hard to eat my protein then veggies and if I have room a carb. I know that the Lap band is a slower weight loss than the other surgeries, and as with all of them their is a time that you will plateau and once you get over that hump it will start again. Jennifer, I happened to me, my inital surgery was scheduled for July 1st, and at 2pm the day before the hospital called and cancelled my surgery due to no hospital bed in ICU for me. Hospital policy is that they can't cancel me twice. I was soooo upset and mad, but after a few hours I calmed down and figured it was ment to be for some reason, My new date is this thursday 7/31. Your time will fly by quick it did for me. Good Luck!!!

The nurse on call was so rude to me. She wouldnt approve anything since I had not seen Dr.Fisher since August 2006. Dr.Fisher and his nurse are both out of the office until tomorrow. His nurse is not very nice either. I started crying a little bit when she told me she couldnt help me. I'm so frustrated and nauseated. They wouldnt help me in the ER and they won't help me with my surgeon either. My primary care physician will not help me becuse she was against my getting the surgery in the first place..What if something is really wrong? What if this kills me?! My appointment isnt until Thursday august 7th and they won't help me until then..I can't take the pain anymore.
