What is an extended TT? I'm still waiting on some kind of aproval for anything :(
Even though you got an infection, would you do it again?
I'm glad to hear your well and happy. Thats what counts.

Hi Sherrie,
I wish more people posted here. I like to hear from my surgery buddy's. I am doing well. Have lost 132 pounds, down to 126. I just had a TT in February. I had so much extra skin. It's wonderful to have the panni gone. I needed a full body lift as well, but insurance only paid for extended TT. I am still pleased. I will never have a swimsuit body, but I am much more comfortable in my clothes. I did get an infection after the TT, but other than that, things went well. Sorry for your complications. Hope things get better. Good luck with your plastic surgery, you will be glad you did it.

I'm still around.
Had my surgery 7-14-08.
Started at weight 250.
Now 160.
Size 12.
Still in the overwight BMI so hoping to get another 20 lbs off.
Feels good to finally be like eveyone else who has 20 lbs to lose!
Lab and diet are pretty good. I've had no bad side effects except my vitamin D is chronically low. I'm working on more supplements right now for D3.
I'm ashamed to say I don't exercise at all right now. But I am hoping to find the motivation now that the weather has broken!
NIce to hear everyone's updates!
I am actually eating more but still loosing? I am trying to get in 5-6 small meals and 2 snacks a day. I am on a perpetual loss. I was so happy at 150 and now I am at 120. Last week alone I lost 6 lbs. I live on peanutbutter and chicken. I have found these great bakety products from butterfly that are no sugar added,
I have not posted in quite some time.
Let me give you all an updaye and I hope you all do the same.
Well We are now 19 month out. I have adjusted to having the surgery. I am at a BMI of 20 nd down to 120 lbs from 274. Thats the good news.
I am now looking into plastic surgery to remove the excess skin. I have seen 2 pastic surgeons and was told by both I need a full body lift as I just have too much skin. My insurance wont cover that, so I am looking into doing it piece by piece eventually. I cant afford to self pay.
My side effects from the surgery have been. Periphril neuropathy in both legs and feet, malnutrition, vitamin defeciancy and major depression. I see 4 doctors eah month and a nutrionisy 2x a month. Life is better being skinny, but I have had some bad effects from it.
I hope you all are doing well and I am anxiuos to hear how everyone else is doing.

I am getting a little freaked out since we are almost at the two year mark. I eat about 6 small meals a day but I am always eating!!
Here is my typical day.
7AM usually weigh****chers blueberry muffin
10:30-11AM lien cuisine frozen meal or healthy choice steamers. I can usually finish the whole thing!
2:00-2:30 sometimes I eat a peanut butter and jelly frozen smuckers sandwich or a handful of peanuts
4:30-5PM something small. Not too much.
7--8PM Dinner-if we go out I usually eat a salad which I can eat more than I did before. These are not small salads. Or a bowl (not cup) of tortilla soup. I can eat more but still not like I did in the past.
Again, I am sorry it took so long to reply.

I love this quote from Woody Allen...........
"I'm not afraid to die. I just don't want to be there when it happens".
