I have my date scheduled but still waiting to find out if ins. will approve it. I cant help but feel anxious about it even though the request could possibly be denied.

Thanks for the encouraging words Claudia. How long have you been looking into having this surgery? I actually haven't confirmed if I'm having the vertical sleeve or the RNY-it depends on what and it the insurance approves.
Let's keep in touch. I'd like to know what someone else is going through to measure my own experience with, not to mention it's just nice to share with someone that understands. Do you have family and friends close by for support?

Hey Beth! My surgery is also scheduled for July 16th, RNY. It seemed like a long time away when I first scheduled, but now we're 37 days out! It's only the "big day" that scares me. I'm feeling okay about what happens afterward in terms of changes. I just want to make sure I see the other side of the surgical procedure.

I have a date for sugery set-July 16th. I'm have vertical sleeve surgery. Anyone else out there a little scared about how life will be after the big day? :angst:
