Help!
I posted this on the CA board too, but need some support right about now...
I am having a very hard couple of days. I want to just eat, eat, eat. I miss food, I'm doubting my choices.
I'm down 12 pounds, sticking to Stage 2 of the diet right now and just want to flippin' CHEW something.
I have that "jumping out of my skin" feeling.
Is all of this normal?
However, I did go on a fantastic walk today and I'm down 11 pounds. Very exciting.
I snap easily at my husband and son.... I don't like this, please tell me this will pass!!!!!!!!!?????

Hello Tasha-
I had open rny on 7/28 and know what you are going through. I had trouble sleeping and had that "jumping out of my skin feeling." I was also grumpy. I had my first post op appt yesterday and he let me try a scrambled egg and mashed potatoes. So that us what we had for dinner and it was delicious! I only had a small amount and ate very slow to make sure it all went down okay. I never thought I would be so excited at eating an egg or mashed potatoes but it was amazing what it did to my mood! Have you tried tomatoe soup? That also helps. I just keep reminding myself that in a month I will have a whole bunch of choices and I can do ANYTHING for a month. Keep walking and congrats on the weight loss!
Mmmmmm. A scrambled egg sounds fantastic. I'm actually craving refried beans for some reason with a little cheese on top. Yum! I get the most random cravings.
My post op appointment is on Tuesday, I sure hope I get the green light to eat a bit more. Not really more, just something with consistency!!!!
