My first post-surgery doctor visit...

My first doctor visit post surgery was today ... got my staples out and weighed. I've lost 20 pounds since my first visit to the doctor on 5/20 and 8 pounds since surgery a week and a day ago. I'm feeling pretty good - just tired from time to time. Next appointment is 30 days away. This is the best thing I've ever done for myself!

Congratulations! Did it feel good to get the staples out? Did the Dr. or nutritionist talk to you about what to eat at this point? I'd love some details! I have my first post-op visit next Tuesday. Keep up the great work!

I was really scared to get the staples out ... thought that would be the worst part of this whole thing but it was a piece of sugar free/fat free cake! They put little band-aid strips over each of my cuts and said to leave them on for 7 days. So far so good!

I went out of state to have my surgery and they told me I was glued. I have lost 16lbs in less than a week. I miss not eating real food. I'm hoping this will pass soon.
