July 22 .08 RNY Surgery date

I am having RNY, this will be my first operation.

Kitty, I will pray for you not only for the surgery but for the joy of a healthy, strong, self-esteem filled life. Pray for me too, my surgery is just days ahead of yours, on the 19th. Keep in touch, join my friend list as of yet I have none on this site.

I had my RNY on July 1st and am doing great. I know that surgery is frightening but being obese the rest of my life scares me so much more. Give yourself time to heal, grieve your food, and accept the wonderful tool you are receiving.

I will pray for you! You said this is your first surgery--honestly don't worry about it--it will be my 12th!! Just make sure you are as healthy as possible before the surgery- practice your breathing!! I work at a pulmonary office - it is very important before surgery !! I am so excited for your journey and I wish you the best!!

Kitty, I hope your feeling more excited about your WLS. I'll Have RNY on the 18th and let you know how it goes. Don't be afraid, I'm sure the first few weeks will be a big adjustment but we can all lean on each other for support. I'm taking my computer to give updates. Hope no one steals it.
