My Surgery is July 7th...I am nervous and my spouse
Many times the spouse is afraid of the changes that will come. Your relationship will change, it can't help but do so with all the changes you'll be going through. Many spouses also wonder if you'll leave when you're this hot babe. Reassure him that the two of you are in this together through thick or thin. Then remind him how much healthier you'll be and how many more things you'll be able to do because of it. Good luck and let us know how it goes. It's a big change for both of you.

hey there Michelle, I'm nervous too, and my church family and co-workers say don't do it you look great now ( at 230lbs and 5'2) and i said i am doing it. but to my point for you i love my spouse as you do and mine is against it to but, THIS IS FOR ME for the 1st time in my life,. he went to my support groups and preached to me all the way about you just have to push away from the table - well im pushing away from people that say NO!!
I had my surgery June 24th. I was also floored by the comments of you.. not you.. I was 5'4 and 256 pounds.. yeah me. But then I realized that change is hard for people they don't know what to expect. My family was so worried about surgery. Then I reminded them.. I run a 6% chance of co morbitiy issues that aren't resolveable. Plus insurance companies aren't giving this away so it's not like you walked in and said... sure one weight loss surgery. Facts and stats is what worked for my family. I also told them I understand their fears but I need to do this and if they can't support me I need to know it now so I don't go to them during the recovery.
Just my thoughts.
