Surgery date July 27th!!

My surgery is set for July 27th with Dr. Mark Kligman in Baltimore. I'm very excited but at the same time very nervous. I also seem to be hungrier then usual. Haven't started the pre-op diet yet, Dr. K has us do that 2 wks out, so now i feel like i want to eat everthing in sight .....cause i wont be able to soon,(hungry or not!) has anyone else gone through this? because i feel like a total idiot. Can't wait for the pre-op to start, even though i know i'll be hungry at least i'll have some limits.

just an error correction....My surgery date is July 22 not the 27th guess I was tired or something! Sorry Guys!

Congrats on the surgery date. I have my surgery tomorrow, the 1st. I am very excited!!!! Yes I went through the eating everything in site phase. Probably natural......at least I hope so! Actually, once the cleansing was finished (about day 4) the pre-op diet has not been that bad. The only time I am really hungry is first thing in the morning. Congratulations on your date! The only thing I'm craving is fillet mignon. How weird is that. 3 days now. The only place in town that serves it charges $50 so either I'm going to pass or make it myself. ---jan---

Hi Ruth! I feel ya. You're not alone. I start my pre-op diet next Monday and let me tell ya, I'm eating really badly right now. And I think it is because I know that I won't be able to after the surgery. My last meal b4 the diet will probably include a cupcake from Sprinkles. LOL.
