July 9 July 9!!

I got my call!! July 9, 2008 2:00 at CPMC in San Francisco. I already have the 2 week preop bloodwork set up for this morning at 11:00. No moss growing under these feet! I don't know yet which section of CPMC I'll be in. The doctor's office is sending me a packet with all the pertinent information. I'll update my surgery page when I get it. Slide over ladies and gents, I'll be a card carrying member soon. I'm doing a happy dance! If I knew how to put in the dancing stick figures right, they'd be here.

Hello You and I have something in common. We both have the same surgery date July 9th. I am scheduled at UCLA with Dr. Eric Dutson. I have been on a liquid diet since June 29th. It's so hard. My surgery is a revision from the lap band to the RNY and it will take 6 or more hrs. Well good luck and keep me posted as to your progress. Thoughts and Prayers are with you. Sincerely, Cathy

Hi Cathy, Congratulations! I wish you a speedy, as pain free as possible recovery. I supplement my protein drinks with different flavors of DaVinci sugar free syrup. I love german chocolate cake, hazelnut and blueberry. The have over 50 flavors. That makes it a lot easier for me. Take care, ---jan---
