independence day surgery

I'm flying into Texas on July 3rd to have a VSG on July 4th. This is the fifth day of my pre-op liquid diet. I chose to do liquids or an extra week.= crazy! I have a headache that you would not believe, and all I want is PIZZA. I know this is just part of the ride. Anyway, I love the symbolism of having surgery on Independence Day!

Not long now and you'll be sitting on the loser's bench and it will all have been worth it. Keep on truckin' ---jan---
