going to mexico on JULY 16TH

i AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS. i HAD LOST HOPE AND NOW....................its back I enjoy reading others blogs about their experience with lap band. I hope to hear from all of you!

I am having my Lap Band surgery done in Mexico also. July 1st. Am so excited. Who is your surgeon? What does your pre-op diet look like? I am very happy for you!

Oh yay a mexico friend, Finally I found someone who is also having their surgery in Mexico. Hospital Angeles in Juarez. Dr Rodriguez. pre op is low carb, not just liquid. protein like meat fish cheese eggs and protein drinks two weeks prior to surgery. where are you going, who is your Dr and tell me all about it!!! Im going to be thin. I cant believe it. Its like a dream. I know it will be hard, but I am so ready. I am happy for you too................we have to keep in touch. I was out of town on business and saw your reply and said woo hoo, a mexico buddy!!

Lily, Thanks for your message. My surgery is being done by Dr. Huacuz in Tijiuna. This morning I had a doctors appointment to tell him what I was doing. He is really excited for me. I was expecting a lecture about having it done in Mexico. He fully supports this and has had two family members and 7 or 8 other patients that have gone to Mexico. He said the insurance companies just make it impossable to have it done here. I concur!!!! I have been able to add strained creamed soups and sugar free pudding....never tasted anything so good in my life!!!! I have talked to an RN here in Arizona that had hers done by your doctor and she is thrilled with her results. Please stay in touch. I will email you as soon as get back to let you know how it went.
