I just checked my last weeks weight I've lost 3 lbs this week. I was on a terrible stall or it seemed so to me. I changed every thing. I upped my calories for a few days then back to diligence. I had a bunch of thing to do so exercise slowed then back up. I added some walking instead of just the elliptical. I had my period and walla!
Who knows what really did it Jessica but It will happen for you too.

Hey, I agree with Heidi, you can try switchin' stuff up to see if it helps move things along. And you're right, the loses do slow down the closer we get to goal. I try to remind myself, it doesn't matter if I get to goal next week, next month, or at my 1 year post-op; this isn't a race. I'll get there eventually. I'm a pretty impatient person, so I have to remind myself of this constantly

Stalls are the worst! It is hard but just remember how far you have come! You are doing an amazing job!
Have you tried switchin' stuff up, like Heidi suggested below? Sometimes that will help break the stall. But sometimes the body just needs a (much needed) time out from losing. You aren't done losing yet, we are only 7-8 months post-op. This is a stall and it will break!

Jean, yeah, it is so hard when things like that are in the house. My husband loves candy (mostly almond M&Ms or Mike 'n Ikes) and usually has a bag open on the counter in the kitchen. Keeping my hands away from those bags is hard. ((HUGS))

Highest: 278 lbs
Surgery: 269 lbs
LastWeek: 159 lbs
Current: 155 lbs
Lost Since Surgery: 114 lbs
Total lost: 123 lbs
I upped my water and protein (not calories) last weekend and Tuesday the stall finally broke! 7 more pounds 'til goal but I don't think I'll purposely stop losing at goal. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and let my body decide when it is done losing. I could get down to 122 lbs for my height (5'8) and still be at a "normal" BMI (very very low end of it though.) I really don't see me getting into the 120s though, I think that would be way too skinny for me.

Wow! a 5 lbs loss is amazing. Congrats! I'm going to up my cardio too!
