Heidi encouraged me to come back to the board & keep sharing ... so here I am again after going underground for a while....
So here's what's been happening:
On 2/10 I left on vacation weighing 211 lbs
On 2/17 I returned from vacation weighing 215 lbs....
... I had skipped the last two month's periods due to that darned menopause thingie
... Then I had a lallapalooser of a period on 2/23
... And then weighed in at 211 on 2/26
... Today I weighed 208.8
So hopefully I'm through the long winter stall and on my way down again... keep yer finger's crossed gals!
My overall stats are as follows:
High Weight: 303
Day of Surgery: 276.6
1/14 Weight: 215
1/22 Weight: 211
2/17 Weight: 215
2/26 Weight: 211
3/5 Weight: 208.8
Lbs gone since surgery: 67.8
Total Lbs gone for good: 94.2
Thanks again Heidi for your encouragement .... I'll keep on keepin' on!
Thanks,
Charity

Janice, just remember you aren't gaining fat. The gain is either water retention, or you haven't had a good poo lately or TOM is here for the monthly visit or you are gaining muscle from your workouts. These are all very normal fluctuations we may have not seen before because we've been continually losing. Now that the losing is slowing a bit we are more likely to see them. Don't worry the body will work it all out eventually. No tears, okay! ((HUGS))

Ask your doctor about viactive because that is calcium carbonate. I was told to have calcium citrate for better absorption. I love the soft chews and would love to mix up the 8-10 Citracal "petite" pills I take now but I'm scared to do so. I had a family member break his hip after RNY surgery and I have to think its about his calcium intake. I don't know how much calcium he was taking but he was late 50's early 60's and broke a hip and I never hear men that age doing that.

Indeed I have been and do, every day without fail. I take Bariatric Advantage Chewables at lunch time at work, and then UpCalD powdered at home.
