I had my 9 month check up with the nutrish,,I have offically weighed in at 156.5 lbs.. I am so excited. They had me breath into a machine to see how many calories I can eat to maintain my weight now. it is 1800 and to lose more eat 1400 calories..She told me to back off the cheese and peanuts, they hold extra calories. and to eat more fruit and veggies for snack.. I forgot to say I am so excited..I dont remembe the last time I weighed 156.5 Barb

Wow! It's difficult to see in pictures how many inches a person has lost. But in your pictures because you are standing in front of the same door in about the same spot you can really see so much more of that door. It's amazing. There has been a big change this last few months! You do look like an athlete. Congrats Monica. Heidi

the scale at home won't work anymore, maybe I broke it. I'm trying to take it as a blessing so that I don't have to weigh myself a fw times a day. I'm resisting the urge to go out and buy a new one.

I took my 9-month pictures this morning. I usually try to wear the same outfit but te shorts I usuallly wear are now so big that you can't really see me inside them. So they have been retired. The pictures are on my blog if you'd like to check them out.

Welcome Barb, It's good to see you here. It has been great to coming to this board and realizing that there are people at the same place as you. We all have road blocks and stalls about the same time. Now we are heading toward our 1st year. All very exciting. Stay tuned. Heidi

Welcome to the July MB, Barb! You are doing fantastic!!! I'm 52yo, married with two "grown" daughters! Also, have 4 grandkids and a passion for scrapbooking! I also ride a Harley and love to garden! Best of all is spending time with my grandkids!!! This surgery has been the best thing I've ever done for myself! I am down 102lbs and feel better than I have for many years! Off high blood pressure and acid reflux meds and have LOTS of energy. I can even walk up two flights of stairs (minimum) with out panting...actually, found myself running up the stairs the other day!!! I could go on and on............Glad you found us, tell us more about your journey! Jean
