I am so like you. Skim Milk over ice has been the best thing ever since surgery (never liked ice in my milk before then... LOL... or as much milk as I drink now too...LOL) But hey that is a GOOD source of PROTEIN!!!! You need to make sure you are getting in enough calories and protein... with that being said Do the Best YOU can do. I dont track my calories or anything... I did it for a *****ard to do when you only eat a few bites and are done)... I think I was around 600-800 calories for that week. What I did find to make eatting easier... have easy things in the fridge. Pre-packaged individual servings of cheese, or cottage cheese or yogurt(still cant stomach that). I make my famous chicken salad (walnuts, cranberries, pickle, chicken and miracle whip).. YUMMMM... once a week and eat off that for lunch all week with a couple wheat thin crackers. Breakfasts I usualy just do 1/2 english muffin with PB on it or cream of wheat or a piece of cheese. Dinner is usually whatever meat the family is eatting (chicken, beef, or fish). Snacks are usually cheese. I drink Skim Milk ALL OF THE TIME... I go thru prob 1 gallon every other day if not every day (only my 5 year old drinks milk with me in my house, hubby cant tolerate it). There are some days when I forget to eat... like today...LOL we were leaving the house and I told hubby wait I havent eatten anything, so I run in and get cheese...LOL Do what you can, try your best to eat enough protein and drink you water and take your vitamins... keep yourself happy and healthy. Forget about the people telling you to eat more, if you have problems go to your Nut. HUGS Susan

ME TOO! Just got a full blood work done and everything is normal ( except my good cholestorol - too low I have to take "fish capsules" ) so it's not my iron. I think my body is just in shock of not have all the extra layers on to keep me warm. My co-worker is 5 years out and still freezing. She still wears short sleeves and jeans in the dead of summer with temp reaching 100+! On the bright side it's in the 80's now and for the first time in years, I'm not on the verge of pasting out from the heat yet. I'm still wearing jeans and most of the day a sweatshirt. I think this is going to be a rather enjoyable summer for me! I m Stronger Than Myself Janice

Here is what I have been doing since the beginning... July 31 = Surgery Date August = 26.5 September = 20.0 October = 16.0 November = 11.5 December = 18.0 January = 14.0 February = 9.0 March = 11.5 April = 7.5 April was my worst month so far with only loosing 7.5 pounds... and all of those were at the beginning of the month... I think I only lost 1.5 pounds from April 8 - April 30th. I do set goals for myself everymonth and try not to beat myself up when I dont achieve them. My goals are 10 pounds per month(ish), this month I was suppose to get to 235.0 but I ended up at 239.5, so close but no cigar. I dont think I will hit my May goal of 225, since I am behind already... but I can hope. Once I hit 1 year out I changed my goals to 5 pounds per month. If I divide up my weight loss 155.5 pounds in 9 months that comes out to be 17 pounds per month... I will take it.

Whether you're interested or not, you MUST eat. You can be damaging your organs, losing muscle, and basically ruining your good health. PLEASE get some help, before you injure yourself.
