Topic: RE: Monavie update and a little information :-)
Where is the nutritional data for this product? I would not replace my vitamins with anything that doesn't clearly show what type of calcium I'm consuming and listing all vitamins and quantities.

Topic: RE: I'm going to ask this question again - Calories
I agree with Shari on this. Our bodies can't produce or store protein. If you aren't eating enough in your diet the body will use what ever protein it can find. That is it will break down muscle for energy, and your heart is a muscle. That is very dangerous and can turn deadly.
Remember why you had this surgery. More than likely to gain your health, right? I have to force myself to eat most days as well, because I have to, to stay healthy.
Most surgeon's recommend at the very least 60g of protein a day. It isn't an opinion that you need protein and lots of it on a post WLS-diet. It is a fact. I hope you can find help with this. I truly understand not feeling hungry or lack the desire to eat. But we eat now for our health, we have to eat. Please ask for help from your doctor/surgeon/nutritionist and get some guidence on how to give yourself the healthiest you. ((HUGS))

Topic: Monavie update and a little information :-)
I posted a question about monavie a few months back and thought I'd make and update about it. This post was triggered from the question posted about being low on Vitamin D.
Here are my results with the juice......
I've noticed increase hair growth and a good amount of energy since drinking it and the best sleep I've had in YEARS!!! After a month of drinking the juice I quit taking all my vitamins. The money I'm saving from buying supplements and protein powders, I'm able to pay for my MonaVie Juice AND I'm getting in 13 servings of fruits (including the Acai berry) and veggies EVERY DAY. From my success stories and the success stories from family and friends (with arthritis especially) that are drinking the juice..... IT'S AMAZING Stuff. I have NO "addictions" to the juice at all when it's time for my next dose. I am a distributor now after "trying" the juice it made a believer out of me. I started this from a pessimistic point of view.
The recommended daily dose of Monavie is 4 ounces a day (2oz in the am and 2oz in the evening). People with specific aches, pains, chronic illnesses such as Fibromyalgia are drinking more a day (4oz in the morning and evening).
If anyone has further questions, please email me! I'd love to share this juice with you!!! I have so many testimonies and clinical studies to provide if you are interested. Even a study where cancer cells were killed.
Check out these websites if you get a chance! I'm super excited about this juice, just from what it's done for me and I know it will do for you!!!

Topic: RE: H i ,It's been a while...
Hi Donna,
Do you attend support group meetings? We were just talking about this at our meeting the other night. There is a lady that is two years out, who has been eating pork chop sandwiches from her second week out, chips, candy, ect. She has still attended the meetings, and she talks about all of the food that she can eat...She had one of those moments at the last meeting, where it just "clicked" Our nurse said that everyone struggles, and that it takes some people a bit longer than others, you just have to use all of your availiable resources.
That said, if you are running, you are already a success in my book

I had to start taking my premarin again because of such bad night sweats and chills. my surgeon said due to the amount of weight i have lost it put me right back in to change again until everyting catches up. I havent taking my hormone replacement for four year but that cured that problem and now I sleep all night like baby,,
I have pale skin too.when I get the shakes, weakness, light headed its because I am not eating enough and blood sugar drops.the Nutrish told me make sure I eat sometime everh 3 hours,,she said i could be more accessable to a diabtic (spelling) now that i had surgery. So i try to watch for those signs.. How this helps..
All my blood work came out great so it has to be the low sugar

you can do it.. if not you have done a great job so far. I keep thinking the last 10lbs they want me to lose will never come off. that wont even put me into the normal range on the chart. it is so great to be overweight than morbidily obese. My hunger level is increasing more.. how about urs at night is the worst.
Have great day
