The 16's will close soon!!! I bought a couple of 16's a couple of weeks ago and have been waiting and waiting to actually get them on. I finally got in one pair....the jeans still won't quite close....but I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY wanting to be in onderland by thanksgiving. That would only be 5 lbs. - but I seem to be loosing really slowly lately.

Ok I have to get into size 16 pants that's all there is to it. I'm almost there. I can get them on, but buttoning them is a bit strenuous.
MY GOAL BY THANKSGIVING IS TO WEAR 16 AND HAVE THEM NOT LOOK TOO TIGHT!
There I said it so I have to make it happen. Thanks for listening.

ps It would be nice to see some posts on this board !!!! I feel like a big chatterbox here.

Topic: Feeling a lot Better about Weight Loss
Thanks to all of you (July surgeries) posting about your weight loss. I'm down 63 pounds and was starting to freak out - thinking that I should have lost more by now! Glad to know we're all in the same range.
I was 299 at surgery and am 236 now.
I found this great Smoothie that has 44 grm of protein, 173 calories, and subs for one meal. Doc said it was fine. I get it from Tropical Smoothie and I know Smoothie King has one also.
I've been eating a lot of turkey burgers (no bread), trail mix as a snack mixed in yogurt, egg/cheese for breakfast.

Highest 340
DOS 300
DAS (day after surgery) 318
Last week (because I'm afraid to get on the scale) 251
69 since pre-op
Goal at Christmas 225 (I think that's realistic)
I have not been losing like I'd like but I am working on my demons everyday to improve.
Love to all of you...
Pam

Your doing fantastic on your weight loss. I'm really sorry that you are going through such a difficult time. Acknowledgement is half the battle in depression cravings. I try to get out of the house when I get like that. Don't forget you can always come here for support. This board can be quiet sometimes but the RNY board or main board is hoping with people ready to help!
Best wishes!
Heidi
