Topic: Four Months Post-Op TODAY!
Wow...this has been the most exciting four months that I have ever experienced.
In four months I have lost a total of 70 pounds!!! That makes for a total loss of 105 pounds!!!
I am feeling great and wouldn't change anything about my experience...except the loose skin!!!
I am so proud of myself for not giving up the fight with the insurance company. It took nearly two years to get approved, but it was definitely worth it!
Congrats to all of us Julyer's for making it this far!!!!

There are lots of 14's in the regular department. I know this because I'm looking for 16 and 18 and there are not that many but I see lots of 14's. Years ago when I was about a 12 they were sometimes hard to find. Now there a lots. You need to forget LB and the women's dept.
I am too looking at heals again. Who would have thought only four months later can make such a huge change!
Best wishes Carla.

I am completely with you on this ...but i still have the fat clothes shopping gene fear in my head sort of......case in point I'd usually shop at Lane Bryant or Marshall's or Lord and Taylor I feel weird(just a little) going to the regular size clothes.... for fear that whatever I buy won't fit I've been programmed for so long to go straight to the women's dept I bought a few size 14 jeans because all my other clothes were literally hanging off... now my 14's are getting really loose I even bought some underwear from VS go figure... in XL (online) TOO BIG ( I never thought I'd be able to wear Vikki's secret underwear in this lifetime yet alone have them be too big) The thing that i really love is I am back to wearing heels 31/2 to 4 inch heels always loved them wore them when i was smaller(eons ago)couldn't do it because of all the pressure on the knees....Now I even wear them when I shop!!

And shopping. This may be my transfer addiction
Seriously I've always been a shopper but last night my daughter and I went shopping together. It was to great to try on things together and not have to go find the women's department next to hardware and vacuum's. We would each go into the dressing room and come out and show each other. It was the best day! (of course spending it with my daughter and not shopping alone was the best part)
Many things in regular stores are still tight so a lot of things didn't work...but some did and I'm happy.
ps status on getting into those 16's... I can button them, but still would not be appropriate to wear in public

I just recently lost mine too... I sure do hope that no-one finds it.
