Topic: RE: what is your dr plans for eating
Hi Brandy:
The doc/dietitian wants me to focus on getting more fresh veggies into my diet, avoid processed foods AND to write it all down. So here's my eating plan:
protien (2-3 servings a day)
veggies (at least 2 servings a day)
fruit (1 maybe 2 servings a day)
whole wheat (1 maybe 2 servings a day)
no white or processed foods
I hope this helps!

I have to limit my carbs but other then that it is whatever I want.
Even diet soda is fine with him (although I usually stick to seltzer)...I wanted to hug him when he said that.
I think my surgeon is the same as most he says he wants me to focus on protein, water and vitamins. Anything else I take in is a bonus.

I found a new treat for myself. Starbucks Espresso Frapp Light. There's about 16 g carbs/ 10g sugar in there, but it is so worth it! I drink it slow and it is such a treat!!! I think that may even be less then a glass of OJ
