My 26 year old daughter and I had surgery 7/18/07 her birthday!!! Happy Sureversary to everyone!!! I'm down 91 pounds since I started the journey and my daughter is down over 140...

Happy late one to you too Amy. Sorry I missed it yesterday. You've done a fantastic job. It's amazing the change in one year. Sometimes I have a nightmare that I wake up and it's last year and I'm 130 lbs heavier.

I actually lost 2 pounds this week! It surprised me because it's that TOM. I've lost a total of 103 and I weigh 187.

Happy surgiversary Joelle! Yes, I know what you mean about feeling like the "real" work is just starting. When we're losing so fast, it's very motivating...makes it much easier to keep focusing on the right choices. We can just keep plodding through his...one day at a time, together.

I bounced back down to 124.4 this week (was 125.8 last week). I've been bouncing up and down between 128 and 124.2 for the past month. But, since 6/19/08, I've been 126.4 or less...so since then, I guess I can officially say I've lost 2 lbs (in what, the past 3 to 4 weeks?). Yeah, it's slow...but it's ok. Not much more to go. It may be a few months before I hit goal...
Total loss is about 130 lbs.
