I want Clinique Happy and an ab lounger.
I did want a kitty, but decided it would be better when Bailey (our 8 year old Boston Terrier) is no longer with us.

YOu know, I have thought and thought about what I would like for Christmas. Well, since I already gave myself the best gift ever, I want a makeover. I want to change my hair completely, (no more blonde, but the streaks), get my nails done, a pedicure, a massage, and buy me some GOOD makeup, instead of the cheap stuff that wears off in 3 hours. A whole new me..... Although diamonds would be nice to..lol

Hi, my fellow Julyers!
You've heard of Christmas in July? Well, how about Julyer's at Christmas!!! Was wondering what you all want for Christmas this year? I am so happy to have had WLS and to be gaining a healthier, thinner body. That is the best gift to myself I've ever done. However, (DH...are you listening?) gift certificate from local craft store, diamonds, clothes, headers for my Mustang...would be nice. What do our wish lists say about us? I think mine is pretty obvious...spoiled brat!!! Take care and happy holidays! Jean

Kim,
I just replied to the weekly weigh in and was wondering if anyone else was struggling with their loss. I am not regaining, but I am not losing as fast as I think I should. I cannot even say that I am stalling right now - but the loss has slowed to a crawl. I am consuming between 650- 700 calories per day- most of which are protein - at least 60 grams per day. My carbs are under 50 grams and I am drinking 64 ounces of water per day. I do drink coffee and am just not at a point where I can give that up at this time.
As you can see below, I only lost 4 pounds last month.
Began 07/06/06.....290
Surgery 07/03/07.....265 (-25 pounds)
Week 4 07/31/07.....241 (-49 pounds) -24 since surgery
Week 8 08/28/07.....232 (-58 pounds) -33 since surgery
Week 12 09/25/07.....225 (-65 pounds) -40 since surgery
Week 16 10/23/07.....219 (-71 pounds) -46 since surgery
Week 20 11/20/07.....213 (-77 pounds) -52 since surgery
Week 24 12/18/07.... 209 (-81 pounds) -56 since surgery
I don't know anything about the 5 day pouch test, but it looks like going back to the basics - which is what is suggested when things like this are posted. If you try it, let us know how you do.
