Topic: One year check up
Well its has also been a year for me...a few weeks ago actually. But last Monday I went for my check up. The news was good. All levels are great! B-12, Iron all good. She said keep on doing what I'm doing.
So to share this is what I've been taking:
1 Bariatric Advantage Iron 29mg
2 BA multi
1 B complex -
1 E 400 mg
1 Omega-3 - flax seed oil
1000 mg C
4 BA calcium (1600 mg/day)
They are requesting referral for plastics - but I not hopeful.
Anyway - I hope everyone else is doing as well if not better!

That is fantastic. It amazes me that you went from a 6x to 16 in one short year.

Hi everyone,
Celebrated my one year mark yesterday by biking and hiking on Block Island, RI with my family. We biked 11 miles and hiked 4.5! Last year at this time I weighed 328 and would not have even been able to bike around the block! Today...198 and still going strong. From a size 6X to size 16! I have lost 130# and feel unbelievable. What a great gift I have given myself and my family!
Can't wait for my one year check up...they rescheduled me to the end of August so it will have to wait.

I know I am late.. I have been so busy lately I havent been checking in like I should.
As of today I am 217.0
Down 178.00 from my start weight of 395.0 and down 188 from my highest of 405
My weightloss has come to an almost stop... June I only lost 4 pounds and this month not so sure yet. I am not getting down about it because it is still coming off.

I JUST had this happen on Saturday...
We had just eatten dinner and were out shopping... while walking thru the store I told hubby that I felt a bit off, like my equalibrium (sp?) was off... then my vision started to go when I blinked...
Needless to say we got out of there and went home, I checked my blood and my sugar was 50... I ate a tootsie roll (yeah I know not a great choice, and I dumped on it... LOL... but that was the first sugar since surgery...LOL) My sugar rose to 56 about 30 minutes later... by bed time (2 hours later) I was at 64. The next morning I checked my sugar and I was at 64.... it stayed low all day, never getting above 70.
I asked my PCP, since I had an appt with her and she said to watch what I am eatting and try to eat more frequently... so now I am eatting all the time it seems like. Still making my good choices, some not so good..arrgghh...but that is ok. I still get that weird feeling but nothing like when it hit 50.
By the way, my sugar has always be lower, never high at all... I wonder if that has anything to do with it getting real low now.

I hear ya, I have a good 50-60 to go before I'll think about being ready for plastics.
I got that dress at Marshalls, only $39...take a look you might have one near you!

You look AMAZING! I love, love, love the sexy little red dress (may I emphasis the word little?) Congrats and keep up the good work! I just had my one year anniversary too and I have lost almost 110 lbs. I still need to lose about 30 more or at least 20 and some serious plastics! So I have to ask, where'd you get the dress? I am hoping it is a major department store where I can run go get one too!!!

I hit my 1-year mark on Saturday and about a week before that I finally hit the century mark.
Since having surgery I have lost about 101 pounds, and have gained a new healthier more active life....I'm so happy.
I wanted to celebrate with everyone in my life who has been so supportive. SO I threw my own party! There was dancing and lots and lots of photos taken. (When OHers get together we get camera-happy)
I even went out and got a sexy red dress (size: large, thank you very much!)
