No loss in this past week, but it was TOM ... time will tell.
Meanwhile, I bought new clothes. Before surgery I was in a size 26..today a size 20 and quickly approaching an 18! UNBELIEVABLE!
Hugs to all,

Topic: RE: Trying to get my groove back
Hi Donna:
Yep, I'm having setbacks too. But am actually finding that I AM hungry alot lately and I have been grazing.
My weight loss has yo-yo'd for the past 3 weeks from 218 to 214 and today to 216.
3 weeks ago I "fell into cheeses" but got off that track (thank god!). Now for the past 2 weeks I've had food cravings for Starbuck's Nonfat Decaf Latte with Sugar Free Cinnamon Dolce Syrup and their LowFat blueberry or cinnamon coffee cake. I can tolerate them, but they're loaded with calories. And, I'm eating way too fast.
Does anyone have a word of support and/or advice? No butt kicking please.
Thanks,
Charity

I think your weight loss will slow, my seem to have done so already, but I still think you can achieve your goal by watching what you eat and exercise.

Oh, it was definitely a "user error" type thing for me as well.....it's all a learning process for sure!
I don't eat very much bread, but every now and then I have a bite or two...but I definitely do NOT go for the sugar....lol Don't really want to try it....too scared! hehe

Went in for my 6 mo check up and the Dr told me that I will likely "only" lose 10-25 more pounds, which kind of bums me out so I added exercise this week ( I know I should have been doing this all along) and I think it has had its effect on my weight loss, but in a negative way so far...hopefully it will turn things around soon; anyway, here's the info....
Preop 243
DOS 237
Current 172
That's a 1lb gain this weigh in.
71 lbs total loss
65 since surgery
He also told me that I have only 6-8 weeks for optimal weight loss left and I better make the most of it....the pressure is on....wish me luck!
I feel ya about the muffin top, but mine is there ALL OF THE TIME, no matter what size pants I wear. I am comfortably wearing 8s from some places and 10s from others. I can't believe that I am down to that, so I am proud of where I am, but I would LOVE to lose at least 35 more pounds.

Morniin' Kim! I'm sorry your wt loss is going slower than you wish!
It really can be a "downer" when that happens. But....Congrats on getting into a size 12,
let alone a 10! AWESOME! And, a 78lb loss is FANTASTIC!
Hmmm, wonder what other superlatives I can use today!
Really, you are doing amazing....
My stats:
Highest wt: 281
Today: 194.2
Total loss of: -86.8 (I'm happy!
)
No change this week...but, sh*$# happens! Just hanging in there this week and trying to stick to the rules! Take care, Jean
