Chromes diease

Hi Everyone, My friend has chromes diease and she dont go to her do****il june and she was asking if anyone has had RNYl having the diease..she said it has something to do with her small intestine..can anyone help her or should she jsut for get about it. Barb

Is it Crohn's disease? If so she can not forget about it. I have two friends with this and it must be managed for optimum health. If she doesn't take care of it her health will decline. If you are asking if she can have gastric bypass surgery with Crohn's I don't think so. Both of my friends have had parts of their intestines removed because of the disease. I remember reading that Crohn's does not make you a good candidate. But she should ask a doctor. Things change. Best wishes for your friend. Heidi
