Dont stress too much... someone once told me that we are not getting enough calories in right now to gain weight... and I am holding onto that. Our bodies will go up and down... we are just realizing it more since we weigh ourselves so much (I am a least once a day weigher..LOL) This month I have been going up and down... up and down... up and down... I went up again this morning... We just need to make sure we are eatting the right things... try and cut out carbs if we are eatting any... and make sure to excercise. It seems like alot of people who had surgery in July are going thru major stalls and the up and down weight lately... I wonder if it is just time for all of us to go thru this. HUGS... I know that everything I said dosent really help since there is no magic cure to this cycle... but just know that you are not alone and we are here to stand by you... and soon the weight will be falling off of us like we would like it to again. HUGS... Susan

It's not fat that you are adding onto your body over night. I weighed 201 yesterday and this morning 202.5. So I am going through the same thing. In the last two months I loose a pound then bounce back and forth for a while even up to a few weeks. I'm exercising drinking water (though I could be better a****er) and counting my calories. I think this is were the games changes and we have to adapt. Keep up the good work and it will come off. Best of luck. Heidi

Hi there. Just another note to let you know that you are not alone. Yesterday I weighed 197, today 198.5. I bounce up and down daily, but I try to look at my weekly and monthly totals to see a more consistent trend. Just concentrate on the basics--water, protein, excersize. If you are feeling like you rarely eat like you said, maybe you need to increase your consumption or consult your nut to have her/him take a look. Good luck, we know you will be successful.

Stalled? Join the club! Are you eating enough?? I know the temptation is to eat even less, but I think it prolongs the stall in weight loss. We're all in this together...what I keep hearing from others farther out is that this will pass and the weight will come off if you hang in there. Don't lose heart!

Thank you everyone for your support. I really don't know that I am eating enough. I would really like to know about how many calories I should be eating. My nut tells me don't worry about the calories but then I feel I have no map t go by. How many calories is everyone else eating??? Hugs Chelle

I eat 1000-1100 calories a day, 70+g of protein. I've resently upped my water to 80oz from 64oz per day. My nut doesn't require to count calories either, but at this stage of the jouney she feels I'm in a good calorie range to stay in. I track my calories because though I get in 70+g of protein, I could easily graze on candy or chips all day (darn hubby!). But tracking the calories, keeps the carbs in check. And I'm in a stall too (17 days and counting) and like the others have said, I jump up and down during the stalls. It isn't fat we are gaining or losing, it is water, or even sometimes not going #2 enough. But the stall will brake as soon as your body feels it is ready to let go again. Our bodies do need brakes every once in a while. We've been putting them through a lot these past 7 months. So they will freak out from time to time. Andi
