Stalls in weight, but how about measurments/inches??
I thought since we seem to be a stall I thought we may could find a bright side to things and talk about inches lost. Have you taken measurments, lately? I did and I couldn't believe it!!
I'd love to hear how everyone else is doing!!!
I posted in my profile my stats and I have a few pictures in there too.
I lose "sizes" verrrrry slowly. I've lost 130 pounds: went from a 34w to a 28 pre-op (68 pounds), but only gone from a size 26-28 to a 24 (60 pounds) since July's RNY.
My fat is very "fluffy." Large in volume but kinda light and mousse-like-- if that makes any sense. So at 240 pounds, I'm still wearing 26s...and I am 5'5". Annoying!
I have a chart of most of my measurements since surgery. It's at the bottom of my profile page. I began working with a personal trainer who took more measurements and I added those to my chart.
In the last four months I've lost about 7 inches around my shoulders. I don't have that rounded look anymore....I actually have shoulders. I've also lost quite a few inches from my hips, they're disappearing.
At my last measurement I had gained a 1/2 inch in my abs and my trainer has been killing me with ab crunches ever since!
I measure myself once a month... that way when I get stuck in a stall I will still have something good to focus on.
This is what I have done so far....
Waist - 63 down to a 50 = loss of 13"
Bust - 64 down to a 55 = loss of 9"
Upper Arm - 18.5 down to a 14 = loss of 4.5"
Thigh - 35 down to 29 = loss of 6"
Calf - 24 down to 20 = loss of 4"
Neck - 14.5 down to 14 = loss of .5"
So my total inches lost is...... 37"
I have gone from a 34 to a size 26/28.... LOSS of 4 sizes
I have gone from 395 pounds to 295.5 pounds... LOSS of 99.5 pounds
