Not really, but I walk a lot more than I used to! I go to the mall and stores and walk every aisle. I signed up for aqua aerobics which starts sept 11th, 2x week for 8 weeks. I already knoew that I'll have to miss a few sessions (husbands band is playing and we have only 1 car and work truck) unless I can find a ride. I have a 2 week free pas for curves, and there's one right behind my house in a shopping center, but I have yet to go. Maybe this Thursday I'll walk over and sign up. I have done some upper arm exercises in hope of reducing the flab that's getting jigglier everyday, but I'm not sure how much that will help. I have thera-band that I use, and try to stop to do 15 reps of some stretches with my arms each time I pass the banister where it's hanging. I have a treadmill in my garage, that I bought back in 2003 and only used a few times. I was so heavy then at 275, that the walking belt would "slip" and I was so afraid of getting hurt! Once I get to 250 I'm going to plug it in and try it out. Only 11lbs to go for that!

I do 1.5 miles on my treadmill at the least every other day. I belong to the YMCA and my hubby and I go 2 - 4 x a week, and then I do stationary bike (8 miles minimum) Doc said no lifting til 2 months.. but that 9/12 so I will start doing the workouts then. Can't wait.

WOW, you guys are doing great! I don't exercise at all yet. I want to, but I'd rather take a nap when I get a moment to myself. I need to get my butt in gear and start walking. My surgeon told me the difference between really succeeding at this, and just doing ok, is exercise. He wants me to succeed and said he worries about me. I need to get in gear!
