Hi Susan! I am a little farther out than you but a few things I have been enjoying are: Chicken Salad Grilled Chicken String Cheese Sliced Tomatos Chili Grilled or Baked Cod And anything I can put Salsa on...I love spicy food and it still agrees with me!

I don't have a favorite yet, but i can tell you that I am SICK of chicken tenders!!!! When we're out and about, I have to get something to eat, and that's the easiest....I can eat only 1, and it goes down well, but I'm so tired of them! I like to explore the menu when we go out different places, and have found some good choices! I haven't gad broccolli as I was told to stay away from that for awhile, and I really am craving a nice salad with tomatoes, cuccumbers and ranch dressing! I can't wait for 6 months!

I like fish and watermelon right now. Chicken is ok but it has to be moist.

I can actually read these lists of foods and not get hungry...pre-surgery I would have read these foods and then gotten up to get something to eat!!!!! And my favorite thing would be Purdue turkey meatballs- italian style. Pre made, "bite size" just pop them in the microwave for 20 seconds!

Sushi Is one of my all time favs I was scared to order it because I heard so much about not being able to digest rice... I was so happy to be at my favorite Japanese spot that I ordered my usual ...BIG MISTAKE normally I get the rainbow roll and the avocado roll I could only eat 3 pieces (for all you sushi lovers know you can't keep sushi overnight) So I was mad at myself for not thinking and seeing all that beautiful sushi in the garbage ! Won't do that again .......Lesson learned! No problem with the rice though

Favorites....yummmm Baked tilapia (fish) with grated fresh parmesan or swiss cheese on top. Sometimes a few zuchini slices on top (season with spices you like). Slice of tomato with tuna/mayo on top with grated parmesan cheese, heated in the microwave. (this is my favorite) Boiled egg and canadian bacon (pizza size). Ricotta, motzarella cheese and spaghetti sauce. Refried beans (fat free) with cheddar cheese. Steamed shrimp. Wendy's chili with added cheddar cheese. Bakes pita chips (crunchy with tuna or chicken salad) Enjoy! Sheila
