Eating too much??
Hi there! I am six weeks out and sometimes I feel like I am eating too much. Where is everyone else??
Here is what today was like for food:
B-fast: 1 string cheese and a 3oz protein bullet
Lunch: 1/2 slice toast and probably close to 1/2 c of chicken salad
Dinner: Small cabage roll (this is cabage around a meatball basically) about 3 oz and 1 slice of tomato.
Tell me what you are thinking guys!! I don't dump and I am a little worried!!! However, the last time I was @ my Nut and Doc they were both wanting me to eat! So I am but jeez...it feels a little too much like I am back to normal and that right there is making me nervous because back to where I was is not where I want to be!!
Thanks,
Amanda
I think thats great if you can eat that much. But what about the bread. My Dr. says no bread for 6 mos. I sometimes think if you get used to all those things in the beginning
you have a better experience. There are so many people that get sick and vomit and don't feel well. I think you are lucky-and I am sure you are eating no where near before-you just don't realize it.

Sounds fine to me. I was allowed to have wheat toast this week too ( 6 weeks out ) unfortunately, it made me "dump" guess I'll have to try the diabetic no sugar bread next time Best of luck trying all your new foods, if your doc says your fine an need to eat then by all means do it. Afterall you paid him the big bucks because he knows more than you right? Don't stress, just listen and obey! Keep posting! I A Stronger Than Myself - Janice
I think the 1/2 slice of toast and 1/2 chicken would make me feel terrible. I am more comfortable with about 1/4 c of food. Sometime's I forget to measure and don't feel well at all after. I also need to eat smaller bites and slower.
You're not eating that much and if that is what your doctors want then your ok.
